오늘은 writing essay를 쓸 때 Body를 어떻게 써야 하는 지 알아보겠습니다.
예컨대 아래와 같은 문제가 나왔다고 해봅시다.
Many students nowadays prefer spending their free time playing computer games. Some people think it is a negative trend.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
컴퓨터 게임에 대한 장단점을 묻는 문제입니다.
이런 문제에 대해 에세이를 어떻게 써야 할까요?
먼저 기본적으로 writing은 아래의 3단계로 진행됩니다.
writing 하는 법
1)Plan->2)Write->3)recheck
그럼 플랜부터 알아봅시다.
대략적으로 이렇게 plan을 짜면 됩니다.
그 다음에 여기서 body1을 어떻게 쓰는 지 알아보겠습니다.
먼저 1)body topic을 쓰고,
2)Reason+3)supporting
4)Example+5)supporting
이렇게 5개의 문장부터 연습하면 쉽게 body를 쓸 수 있습니다.
이때 supporting을 쓰는 방법이 여러개가 있지만, 이 중에서 가장 기본 단계 2개를 알아보겠습니다.
supporting문장 쓰는법=더 설명하는 법
1)어떻게 게임을 하는 것이 사람을 행복하게 만드는 지 과정을 설명
-because/so/thus..
2)구체적으로 어디가 행복해지는 지(특히 스트레스를 풀어준다거나, 친구랑 함께해서 행복)
-especially, in particular, more specific
이 2가지 방식 중에 선택하거나 둘 다 써도 상관없습니다.
최종적으로는 아래와 같은 문장이 나옵니다. 직접 자신의 답안을 써보고 참고하세요!:)
B1-1)On one hand, the proponents of playing games point out that it makes people feel happy.
B1-2)Students who do not play games do not have many ways to relieve stress.
B1-3) However, the students who enjoy games can easily reduce stress by playing games.
B1-4)For example, in South Korea, a game called Overwatch was popular among students.
B1-5) At that time, lots of gamers relieved stress and felt happy.
B2-1)On the other hand, the opponents of playing games emphasize that S+V.
